Irish Dictionary.ie down again?

Update: error is still showing on Thursday 11th February 2010.

Since Sunday 7th February 2010 I’ve had reports that the Irish dictionary at http://www.irishdictionary.ie (same as English Irish dictionary http://www.englishirishdictionary.com) is having trouble. The site is running, except that if you search for an Irish word it displays a database error. All other searches work fine.

One person emailed info@irishdictionary.ie but that email address bounced.

Let me know any updates if it’s back working again.

Thanks to Jonathon, David and Michael for the tips.

Irish Dictionary.ie never puts any contact details on its site, which I always found weird. How did you know where to send the email? Does anyoone have contact details for Irishdictionaary.ie because it really is the king of Irish dictionaries when it is working, but I often worder do they (or he, or she) even know when the site is down?

A fantastic, quick and easy aid but because of the amount of times the site crashes I could’nt let my nerves but up with any more of its unrealiability. Surely it could’nt take much effort of brains to fix this ongoing problem.

@danny You’re right, since it doesn’t seem to be updated much, I’m surprised to see the server itself crashing so often.
